Role Overview
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be the key link between clients and internal teams. You’ll guide projects, communicate clearly, and ensure clients are delighted with the results.
This role suits someone with 7 or more years of experience in project or account management within a creative or digital agency. Beyond management, you’ll also help develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Partnership
You’ll be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects. Your job includes nurturing long-term relationships and finding new ways to support client goals. Strong communication and empathy are vital for this role. You’ll build trust, provide guidance, and help clients grow through Madeo’s digital expertise.
2. New Business Development
You’ll help write proposals, lead client meetings, and explore new opportunities. This role offers the chance to build long-term partnerships and support Madeo’s business growth. If you enjoy working with clients and winning new projects, you’ll thrive here.
3. Project Collaboration
You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and Developers to deliver outstanding digital work. Your project management background will help keep everything organized and on schedule. You’ll ensure goals are clear, deadlines are met, and clients are satisfied at every stage.
4. Nonprofit and Social Impact Work
Many of Madeo’s clients are nonprofits and social enterprises. Experience with these organizations—or a strong passion for social impact—is highly valued. Your work will help organizations focused on equality, education, and sustainability achieve their missions.
5. Strategic Support
You’ll contribute insights that guide project strategies. While strategists lead the planning, your understanding of client goals helps align creative and technical efforts. Being a strong communicator and a thoughtful partner will make you successful in this role.
6. Process Development
At Madeo, account management is a team effort. You’ll help document best practices, refine workflows, and contribute to internal improvements. Your input will help strengthen Madeo’s standards and create smoother client experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in account or project management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven experience managing client relationships
- Understanding of web design, UX, and digital marketing
- Experience with nonprofits or mission-driven clients (preferred)
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Enthusiasm for learning and improving processes
Preferred Skills
- Experience in digital strategy or marketing
- Knowledge of tools such as Slack, Asana, and Google Workspace
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Collaborative mindset and team-building skills

Compensation Overview
Madeo offers fair and competitive pay within the U.S. digital agency market:
- Base Pay: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
- Additional Pay: Up to 20% through 401(k) match, bonuses, and profit sharing
- Estimated Total: $84,000 – $120,000 annually
